The Color and Design Group meets on the second Monday night of the month from 6pm to 9pm.  The quilters in this group are each interested in exploring the relationships of color, fabric selection, color theory, and basic design concepts in order to enhance the end results of the quilts they make.  Each month the members of the group have take- home assignments which they then bring to the next month’s meeting for the purpose of sharing and learning.  The current assignment deals with the relative value of six specific fabrics in six specific color families and with the idea of the relative temperature of these fabrics.  So far it has been a wonderful group willing to experiment and share openly with one another.  It’s been fun and we are all learning from each other.
